WELCOME TO THE FIRST DAY OF ECCLESIA KIDS VBS 2023
As they negotiate uncertainty and change, so many children are operating in survival mode. They could feel perplexed or overpowered by events or people in their lives and be unsure of who to turn to for assistance. In order to teach children how to handle challenging circumstances in their life, we must provide them with a strong biblical foundation founded on truth.
The importance of teaching children biblical truth is underscored by the fact that many of the children who participated in VBS may have experienced the gospel for the first time. Children who are taught to rely on God in difficult circumstances will develop strong religious roots that will last long after VBS is done.
As the church, it is our responsibility to recognise the problems that children bring with them.
Demonstrate to them that God is able to bear their suffering. The Bible is replete with stories of hurting individuals who turned to Jesus for peace in the midst of disaster. Children can be directed to the Lord, who can comfort them and walk beside them, even though we cannot fully resolve all of their issues.
